Thanksgiving–a Year Long Celebration of Gratitude

University of California psychologist Sonja Lyubomirsky suggests counting your blessings will lift your level of happiness. Instead of setting aside just one day to be thankful, the doctor suggests keeping a gratitude journal and writing three to five things to be thankful for in the past week. Reading this journal in less happy times will help you get through the tough days of your life.
