Vegetable Gardening

More and more Americans are planting vegetable gardens this year in order to bring healthy, nutritious meals to their dinner tables.  Not only is gardening a great way to exercise, it is also a “sport” that benefits the budget.  Spending some bucks in the spring can return a lot of savings on the food bills during the summer…and winter if you decide to freeze or can the harvested goodies.

Whether you are a new or experienced gardener, you are invited to follow my blog on vegetable gardening, The Garden for Eatin’

My husband and I owned and operated a garden center and greenhouses for almost twenty years.  We have gardened almost all our married lives.  We want to help you raise a successful food-producing garden and the blog is packed with helpful information, recipes, tips, and a journal of our twelve months of gardening. Yes, we garden up north in the summer and in Florida in the winter.  Perhaps you will get hooked on gardening and make it a hobby/recreation that you enjoy.
